Procurement Manager

Job Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

 

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
  • Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
  • Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.
  • Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
  • Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favourable to the company.
  • Ensure accountability and transparency in the procurement process

 

Skills

  • Degree in purchase and or project management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Honest, reliable, dedicated and open to travel as and when required.
  • Strong tech skills
